Balanced body

Better life

I’m one of those lucky people who can say they love what they do! Massage is my calling.

I believe in the healing benefits of massage therapy. Positive results extend past the physical body, to both the mind and spirit. Massage can enable freedom within the whole body-mind connection. The benefits are plentiful and include reduced muscle stiffness, reduced pain, less fatigue, improved range of motion and circulation.

Here's a little about me. I’m a 1996 graduate of Potomac Massage Training Institute, and for over 27 years have had my practice in the Old Town and Del Ray communities of Alexandria. My specialties are deep tissue and relaxation therapies as well as prenatal massage. Understanding that everybody is not the same, I work with your individual needs. Each therapeutic session is created for your unique needs. My focused work has brought me referrals from area chiropractors, physical therapists, CrossFit instructors and teachers of pilates and yoga. I'll work, with you, to keep you healthy and active.

“I've been a distance runner for nearly 30 years and like to train pretty hard, which means I'm always denting some body part. Maggie does a great job straightening everything out and putting me back together.

She uses a pressure that gets the job done. I've never had to ask, "Could you please work deeper?"

If you want results - and a therapist who really cares about you - go see her. "
